O rly?

Here's a gem of a quote from anti-choicer Michele Bachmann:

"That's why people need to continue to go to the town halls, continue to melt the phone lines of their liberal members of Congress," said Bachmann, "and let them know, under no certain circumstances will I give the government control over my body and my health care decisions."
Oh, you mean like what we pro-choicers have been saying for fucking ever?

Do us all a favor, Michele, and kindly STFU.

H/T: Feministing for quote and links.

Oh, I think Rep. Bachmann sees being anti-choice and anti-health care reform as perfectly consistent: she wants the government off *her* body, and everybody else can go hang.

She makes me so glad I moved out of Minnesota-- she was the least gratifying congressional representative I've ever written to. Not only did we never agree on anything, she has a reputation for canceling meetings with her constituents. She really does her best to make sure nobody melts her phone line.

That horrid woman is an embarrassment to Minnesota. My Ex lived there, and his uncle was one of the leaders of DumpBachmann, a grassroots blog dedicated to exposing this woman for what she is. So far though, she keeps getting reelected, for some reason.
